Readings: December 17—Fourth Sunday of Advent, Year C; December 24—First Sunday after Christmas; December 31—Second Sunday after Christmas; January 7—First Sunday after the Epiphany
We open with prayer at 7 p.m. or earlier if all have arrived. We will read aloud the chosen section and share with one another words or phrases that were significant to us. The facilitator will kick off a discussion of context (scriptural, historical, cultural, etc.) which will, with God’s grace, lead us to a discussion of how an understanding of scripture can restore us to fullness with God and each other in Christ.
